Surface resistance testing & quality control

Every lot of our CNT (Carbon Nanotube) materials is sampled and measured before it ships. Here is what we check, and how.

WHAT WE TEST

Measured on every lot

Surface resistance meter reading on a cable sample

Surface & volume resistance

Resistance is measured across each lot to confirm it sits inside the specified band — from 10⁻² to 10¹⁰ Ω.

Thermal camera image of heating film

Thermal uniformity

Heating film and plates are checked by thermal imaging for even surface temperature and no hot spots.

CNT film wrapped around a curved surface

Mechanical & fold tests

Repeated folding, bending and tear checks on film and tape — with no cracking, powder shedding or loss of conductivity.

Resistance check on CNT film

Flame performance

Flame-retardant film grades are tested against V-0 and V-1 classes [confirm test standard and lab].
